Redeemer Covenant has always had a desire to serve in our community. One outreach began in 2000 with a visit to one of our local nursing and retirement homes, Heritage Gardens. A group from Redeemer met with the activity director to see if there was anything that they could do to help. This simple visit began a long lasting relationship with the staff and residents.

Harvest Community Garden is a non-profit organization that is being developed by Redeemer Covenant Church and Keep Carrollton Beautiful.
The purpose of this organic garden is to provide an opportunity for folks to garden, get outside with family and firends, and to give back to the community. We welcome anyone to join with their neighbors to grow their own produce and share it with others. We are committed to donating 50% of the garden's crops to the local food bank.

Redeemer Covenant has had a relationship with Metrocrest Social Services in Carrollton for over ten years. The mission of MSSC is to provide short-term, emergency services to improve life situations of residents of Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Addison and Coppell.
One of the outreach programs that Redeemer has participated in for the last five years is the Hearts and Soles back to school program. This outreach is a partnership with MSSC, Payless Shoes and Redeemer Covenant. The goal each year is to raise enough money to provide 200 children with new shoes and socks to start the new school year. The primary source of funds is provided by the proceeds of an annual raffle. This raffle is a joint effort of local individuals, local businesses and the Redeemer congregation. This allows the entire community to assist in providing the shoes for the children.
